Eddy is going to be the best dad ever. We live in this terrific circle with tons of kids running around, busting through our front door, playing bball in the street and night games on the weekends. We love where we live, but one of the best things is watching Eddy play with all the kids. When we first moved in, he had been playing with the kids a few times and one day we got a knock on the door and the neighbor boy was nervous when I answered he said, "umm, well, can Ed-boy come play?" And the name stuck. He has a new best friend, Cooper, who was calling him to come play the other day and Eddy was busting at the seams to head over to our friends so he could hang out with his 3 year old buddy. We got home that night and Eddy's comment was, "I can't wait for our baby to be 3 yrs old." What, it's not even 3 days old yet, slow down mister, I can wait, 3 year olds have too much energy. But his excitement to play with our own kids is just busting out of his 6 foot 7 frame! Did I mention I love him?

Yes, Ed-boy is going to be one fabulous dad and you'll be an equally fab mom. I might have to prepare Cooper that some of Eddy's attention is going to get diverted with his own arrival. :-) Hopefully they can still be b/f/fs!
Any time you want to borrow my three-year old you are more than welcome. One afternoon with him and Eddy will be looking forward to sleepless nights and spit-up!

I agree 100%! Ed-boy rules! Zack has sometimes randomly asked if Eddy was coming over. I think the kids pick up on his enthusiasm for life. It makes him so much fun to be around. Ed-Boy(or girl) Jr. is going to be one lucky kid.
